Mortgage Search Ltd was founded in 2022.

The aim has always been to provide local clients with clear, friendly, and reliable mortgage advice.

Although the business began trading in 2022, my experience in the mortgage industry goes back to 2008, when I first started my career with Wilson Peacock right here in Newport Pagnell. Since then, I’ve worked across both banking and whole-of-market brokerage, helping clients secure the right mortgage solutions to fit their goals and circumstances.

I live locally in Newport Pagnell, my children attend school here, and my wife works within the local education sector in Newport Pagnell and Milton Keynes — so we’re very much part of the community we serve. That local connection means a lot to me, and it’s reflected in the way we look after our clients.

As the business continues to grow, we’ll soon be trading as Tickford Mortgages, which will remain part of  Mortgage Search Ltd. The new name reflects our deep roots in the area and our focus on providing expert mortgage advice to the communities of Newport Pagnell and Milton Keynes.

Our aim is simple: to offer honest advice, exceptional service, and a genuinely local approach to mortgage broking — built on trust, care, and long-term relationships.

And while our heart and history will always be here in Newport Pagnell, our reach goes far beyond it. From our small market-town base, we proudly help clients right across the UK — proving that personal, high-quality advice doesn’t stop at the postcode.
